Quick Start Guide
This year, for the first time, we have introduced a Hurling Fantasy Game to compliment our Football Fantasy Game, allowing you to enter either or both our Fantasy Championship competitions. Our Fantasy GAA games have been designed to be easy to join and play. To be a successful hurling or football manager does, however, require a degree of skill in team selection and in the use of player transfers. Have you got what it takes to be a top manager?
How to Play
- Register with a valid email address.
- Click on the link within your registration email to activate your account.
- Select your sport - Hurling or Football - and enter your dreamteam name; you will able to add further teams in both the Hurling and Football Dreamteam Championships after adding your first team.
- Purchase players by clicking on the PURCHASE links, which will bring up a window that allows you to search for players by county or name.
- You must purchase a minimum of 15 players - 1 goalkeeper, 6 backs, 2 midfielders, 6 forwards; purchasing up to 5 players for your bench is optional.
- Your total budget is €100 million.
- You may select no more than 4 players from the same county.
- View information about your players by hovering over their names or shirts on the pitch or by clicking on the links in the My Team Data listing.
- Players must be substituted before being sold.
- To substitute a player simply drag the player's shirt to the bench or click on the sub link.
- Because of the use of Web 2.0 technologies all updates to your team happen without the page having to refresh.
- To allow you to get your team right you have an unlimited amount of transfers while choosing your initial team.
- After selecting your initial team you must register your team by clicking on the REGISTER button. Your team will not score any points or be included in the leaderboards until you register your team.
- You will be allocated one transfer per week which you must use during that week as it will not carry over to the following week.
